Corn Culprits

We ended up pulling the corn out of the ground – the plants had hardly any roots. At first we thought it was because of our solid clay soil, but then we noticed the real culprit.

Grubs.

All of the one we found made their way into a salt bath.

We ae are going to try to organically treat for grubs and replant our corn. I’m not sure it will work, but I refuse to let the grubs win this round without at least trying once more.

Any ideas for organic grub treatment?

I wish we had chickens.
